K-drama Review: She Was Pretty (2015)

Hello hello, I just finished another famous drama of 2015 in a week. At first my friends recommended this drama for me last year and I didn't really interested because in a glance I didn't really know the casts. Later on, I became interested to watch this drama because there was Choi Siwon as second male lead and I downloaded all episodes right before watch Kill Me Heal Me. Then, I become more interested to watch this drama since I have watched Hwang Jung Eum & Park Seo Joon's great acting in Kill Me Heal Me first.

Ahem... A story about ugly duckling that transforms into a beautiful swan is such a boring story, and actually this drama presented the opposite version.

She Was Pretty (Hangul: 그녀는 예뻤다 Geunyeoneun Yeppeodda) is a 2015 South Korean television series starring Hwang Jung-eum, Park Seo-joon, Go Joon-hee, and Choi Siwon. It reunited Hwang Jung-eum with Park Seo-joon, who previously starred together in Kill Me, Heal Me; and Hwang Jung-eum with Go Joon-hee, who previously starred together in Can You Hear My Heart.

J-drama Review: Attention Please (2006)

Hello everyoneeee! I decided to watch this drama because it's story about cabin attendant a.k.a cabin crew. Ehem I've ever wanted to be a cabin attendant myself, so I'm interested to know more about reality behind the industry. In real life, I also have some cabin attendant friends and it made me aware about how serious that job is. It's not only about serving drinks or food on board guys.

Losing her mother at a young age, Misaki Yoko (Ueto Aya) was raised amongst three brothers. Yoko is a slightly boyish girl who is bullheaded and hates dishonesty. Ever since she was young, she enjoyed the company of boys over girls. She starts a band with four of her boy friends and becomes the lead singer. Then one day, one of the members of the band, Tsukasa, gets a job at a bank in Tokyo. Due to Tsukasa leaving town, the band breaks up and though Yoko finds herself lonely, she puts on a strong act in front of Tsukasa. She can't tell Tsukasa how she truly feels for him. On the day Tsukasa leaves for Tokyo, Yoko goes along with the band members to the airport to see him off. The guys get excited when they see some cabin crew ladies and Yoko has no idea why. She reminds them that even she can wear a uniform, but the guys only make fun of her. That's when Tsukasa tells Yoko he wonders what she'd look like dressed in uniform. This is when Yoko decides she wants to work as a Cabin Attendant. (credit:

J-drama Review: 14 Sai no Haha (2006)

Hello everyone~ I'm back with another Japanese drama review again!
I missed this drama when I was in senior high school, so I watched it properly few days ago. This drama was a BOMB at that moment. Getting pregnant is a crucial moment after getting married, but how if the pregnant woman is still 14 years old? This drama won't make you cry a river (at least for me) but it will gives you so many good morale lessons :)

(14 years old Mother)

Miki Ichinose (Mirai Shida) is the girl next door. She is an average junior high school second grader, who likes spending time with her friends and prefers extra curricular activities to studying. She also enjoys dating her year-older boyfriend, Satoshi Kirino (Haruma Miura). Her teenager life, however, becomes no longer typical when she gets pregnant and decides to keep the baby…

Everybody objects her decision to become a mother at such a young age.Her family and relatives worry about what others will say.Her teachers and classmates are only concerned with their school’s reputation. Even Satoshi refuses to accept his future role as a father.Miki feels that nobody is on her side, and almost decides to give up the baby. But she suddenly realizes and says to herself:“Everyone is against me except for one person, the one who is inside me;my baby!”

Miki finally decides to keep the baby, and flees home to find a place to give birth peacefully. Her journey is, of course, full of hurdles: People, when finding out about her situation, begin pointing fingers. And some even become abusive towards her. Still, as in every journey, goodhearted people are always there to help. In such a harsh situation,Miki never loses her cheerful and positive attitude, because she already knows she will never be alone again. As Miki begins to show, she also matures mentally by rousing maternal instincts, attaining strength and tenderness as a future mother. (cr:

K-drama Review: Sassy Go Go (2015)

안녕친구! I just finished another Korean drama titled "Sassy Go Go" that aired in Korea last year. I actually didn't know about this drama until my blogger friend mentioned it last year. When I saw the details about this drama, apparently Eun Ji A Pink is one of the main role and I thought I should watch this drama, since it's only 12 episodes.

Set at the elite Sevit High School in Seoul, the drama follows the lives of five students as they attempt to survive in a vicious environment where academic elitism takes place. Kang Yeon-doo (Jung Eun-ji) is the leader of outcast street dance club "Real King", a group of students who band together because of their poor academic performance, whereas Kim Yeol (Lee Won-keun) is the President of "Baek Ho", an elite club composed of students from the top 5 percent. When the two clubs are forcibly merged to create a cheerleading squad, the two put their differences aside for the benefit of their clubs. As they go on with their misadventures, lots of things happened that has resulted to a great and unbreakable bond. Cheer Up! is a story that aims an ordinary high school student's misadventures including love, heartbreak, pain and friendship

Anime Review: Shigatsu no Kimi wa Uso (2014-2015)

I forgot to post a review about anime that I watched last 2015. This anime is titled Shigatsu no Kimi wa Uso (Your Lie in April). My younger brother even recommended this anime and I eventually watched it :P

Piano prodigy Kōsei Arima dominated the competition and has become famous among child musicians. After his mother, who was also his instructor, died, he had a mental breakdown while performing at a piano recital at the age of twelve. As a result, he is no longer able to hear the sound of his piano even though his hearing is perfectly fine. Two years later, Kōsei hasn't touched the piano and views the world in monochrome, without any flair or color. He has resigned himself to living out his life with his good friends, Tsubaki and Watari, until, one day, a girl changes everything. Kaori Miyazono, a fourteen-year old audacious, free-spirited violinist whose playing style reflects her manic personality, helps Kōsei return to the music world and shows that it should be free and mold breaking unlike the structured and rigid style Kōsei was used to.

J-drama Review: Seigi no Mikata (2008)

Finally I managed some time to finish this dorama :)) I have been procrastinated since this drama was released in 2008 and I decided to watch it because Shida Mirai took a main role here. This Japanese drama is titled "Seigi no Mikata" a.k.a Ally of Justice.

I don't like Youko's hairstyle in this promotional poster.. I guess this was previous hairstyle for Youko before the drama team changed her hairstyle to the better one :D
Yoko (Mirai Shida), a first-year high-school student, has been the victim of her older sister, Makiko (Yu Yamada), since they were little girls. Makiko treats Yoko as her personal servant, making her feel useless and stupid. Yoko has tried to tell others that Makiko is evil, but the older girl is good at showing a benevolent face to the world, so no one believes Yoko.
Makiko becomes more demanding the older they get, even using Yoko to get boyfriends for her. One morning, when Yoko leaves home for school, she sees Makiko talking to Yoko's boyfriend, who is there waiting for her.
Makiko has told him something embarrassing about Yoko, and Yoko can no longer stand it.

Movie Review: Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014)

Hello everyone! Sorry for lack of updates, but I'm coming with another movie review~
I've always wanted to watch one of recent Dream Works' animated movie: Mr. Peabody & Sherman but I missed it on cinema because my BF didn't interested in it.
So, I got a copy of this movie and watch it all by my own :p

Mr. Peabody & Sherman is a 2014 American 3D computer-animated comic science fiction film featuring the characters Mr. Peabody and Sherman of the 1960s animated television series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. It is produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by 20th Century Fox. The movie is directed by Rob Minkoff, who is most famous for co-directing Walt Disney Animation Studios' The Lion King. Alex Schwartz and Denise Nolan Cascino are the producers. Tiffany Ward, daughter of Jay Ward, one of the creators of the original series, is the executive producer. Mr. Peabody & Sherman features the voices of Ty Burrell, Max Charles and Ariel Winter.

It is the first DreamWorks animated feature to feature characters from the Classic Media library since DreamWorks Animation's 2012 acquisition of Classic Media and the first to be based on a TV show. The film premiered on February 7, 2014 in the United Kingdom, and was released on March 7, 2014 in the United States. Despite grossing a worldwide total of $275 million on its $145 million budget, the film underperformed at the box office, forcing a writedown of $57 million. A TV series based on the film, titled The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show, was released on Netflix on October 9, 2015.
