K-drama Review: Sassy Go Go (2015)

안녕친구! I just finished another Korean drama titled "Sassy Go Go" that aired in Korea last year. I actually didn't know about this drama until my blogger friend mentioned it last year. When I saw the details about this drama, apparently Eun Ji A Pink is one of the main role and I thought I should watch this drama, since it's only 12 episodes.

Plot
Set at the elite Sevit High School in Seoul, the drama follows the lives of five students as they attempt to survive in a vicious environment where academic elitism takes place. Kang Yeon-doo (Jung Eun-ji) is the leader of outcast street dance club "Real King", a group of students who band together because of their poor academic performance, whereas Kim Yeol (Lee Won-keun) is the President of "Baek Ho", an elite club composed of students from the top 5 percent. When the two clubs are forcibly merged to create a cheerleading squad, the two put their differences aside for the benefit of their clubs. As they go on with their misadventures, lots of things happened that has resulted to a great and unbreakable bond. Cheer Up! is a story that aims an ordinary high school student's misadventures including love, heartbreak, pain and friendship

Kang Yeon Doo with her 4 Real King members and her childhood friend, Ha Dong Jae

I thought there will be something between Yeon Doo & Dong Jae, because in the most of stories that involves childhood friends, usually there is "man to woman" feeling in between :p

Kim Yeol & Kang Yeon-doo

Eunji from A Pink's smile is always as bright as ever!

left to right: Kim Yeol, Seo Ha-joon & Ha Dong Jae

I know this is a bit out of topic, but I suspect Ji Soo (Ha-joon) is a smoker, because his lips are relatively darker compared to other casts. :p

Yeon Doo & Soo Ah, when they were still a good friend.

Kwon Soo Ah was a victim of her ultra perfectionist mother's ambition, and she was forced to achieve Number 1; overcoming Kim Yeol's rank. I feel sorry for her background and how hard she studied to achieve Number 1 Rank, but she has been so evil throughout the drama and it was so irritating :s

This drama is suitable for teenagers and young adults because this drama teaches you how to be brave, honest to yourself, speak out your mind and be loyal to your friends. Personally I think this drama is quite boring and I had to speed up the drama so I could finished it as quick as possible LOL. Buuuuut this drama contains many morale lessons and I added 0,5 point for its happy ending.

STORYLINE:
The story line is lame, a bit monotone, quite predictable and boring. Actually this drama isn't that bad, but it could be better. A love story between Yeon Doo and Yeol is sweet enough and I love how they express their affections

CAST:
Every cast in this drama is good enough and IMO Eunji & Won Keun is like a pair match in heaven :D I like Soo-Ah's appearance; so classy, cute and princessy. It's little bit weird to see top rank students like Baek-Ho club joined cheeleaders club :P haha

ACTING:
I never watched most of the casts' acting before but they're good. I wish Ji Soo (as Seo Ha-joon) has better expression XD

MUSIC:
It's youthful and support the drama well. The drama can be more boring if the drama staffs picked wrong track list.

ENDING:
The ending is good and well proportioned! Every student has their nice ending and it's good to see every family reunited in love, honesty, and understanding :)

RATING:
7/10
(I was about giving this drama 6,5/10, but I changed my mind because of its ending :P LOL).
So I suggest you to watch this drama if you look for a "easy & light" drama, that relatable with school life.

Anyone have watched Sassy Go Go as well?
What do you think? :)
