K-Drama Review: The Producers (2015)

Hello everyone! I didn't know if The Producer only has 12 episodes! All we know that this drama just ended last week, and it's quite sad.. I'm enjoying this drama :( Anyway, in my previous post I said that 2 first episodes of this drama is boring and I was about to drop it if its story didn't get better. But at the end I continued to watch it because its story is getting interesting ^_^

PLOT:

Seung-Chan (Kim Soo-Hyun) decided to work at the entertainment division of KBS television network because of his secret crush on a KBS employee. On his his first day on the job, Seung-Chan goes through training, but has a difficult time with PD Ye-Jin (Gong Hyo-Jin). Ye-Jin is the producer of music program "Music Bank."

Seung-Chan is then devastated when he sees his secret crush and PD Joon-Mo (Cha Tae-Hyun) being affectionate towards each other. Joon-Mo is the producer of variety show "2 Days & 1 Night” and he is a long time friend of PD Ye-Jin. 

PD Ye-Jin has been feeling sick since the morning, because of an incident with an expensive parked car. She tries to contact the owner of the parked car, but fails. Ye-Jin then argues with popular singer Cindy (IU) over her stage outfit.

PD Joon-Mo is also going through a hard time. He hears rumors that his show is going to be cancelled because of low ratings. After a long and hard day, PD Ye-Jin is finally able to track down the owner of the expensive car. Surprisingly, the owner of the expensive car is Seung-Chan.

The Story line of this drama is quite unpredictable. I couldn't really predict what would gonna happen next and many sides of this drama that surprising me! This drama has high rating too~

Kim Da Jung, uber sexy maknae from Music Bank Show. Her attitude is sometimes annoying but she's fun to watch.

Song-Hoon, PD of Open Concert. His personality is hilarious, he even had affair with older woman from his office XDD

KBS Olympic. The competitions are intriguing

Overall Thoughts

I think this drama can be extended more than 12 episodes, but the drama actually ends at it best. When everything is better and settle down. I don't know if the life of PD is that hard, and their effort can't be underestimated. This drama might be not great, but it's entertaining ^_^
