At first I heard this drama from my friend weeks ago and I ended up watched it anyway, because there are Joo Won and Kim Tae Hee! I saw Joo Won for the first time from his Cantabile Tomorrow drama, and he's so charming!! ♥♥♥♥
It's been a really while since I watched Kim Tae Hee on drama ^^ she's always been so beautiful and stunning! No wonder Rain loves her XD
About Yong Pal:
Yong-pal (Hangul: 용팔이) is a 2015 South Korean drama series starring Joo Won, Kim Tae-hee, Chae Jung-an and Jo Hyun-jae. It aired on SBS from August 5 to October 1, 2015 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 18 episodes. Originally slated for 16 episodes, due to the popularity of the drama, it was extended by two episodes. The drama then ended with a total of eighteen episodes.
Story:
Kim Tae-hyun (Joo Won) s a talented surgeon. Desperate for money to pay for his sister's medical bills, he adopts the code name Yong-pal and offers his medical skills to those in need of medical attention but who cannot do so publicly, dealing with criminals and corrupt plutocrats. Joining a team of corrupt physicians Kim rescues "sleeping beauty" Han Yeo-jin (Kim Tae Hee), a chaebol heiress, from a medically induced coma, leading to unintended consequences.

My First Impression:
I'm not a person who can see blood in huge amount, but I still can tolerate blood appearance @_@
I was got shock few times every time I see blood spurting in entire drama. But the concept of this drama is quite unique; a surgeon that has side job as house-call doctor for gangsters! He looks awesome and skilled in taking care of patients ^.^ Of course Kim Tae Hee's beauty is also fascinating!

My Overall Thoughts:
I usually don't like serious drama, I prefer comedy romance drama but I made exception for this one; because of Joo Woon :p But still, as this drama has serious atmosphere, I'm not sure if you won't doze off if you watch this drama marathon-ly! There are plenty of scenes that showed me how hard the real business is. Too much intrigues and cruel behaviors that showed here, we surely have to be picky about morale lessons that we want to keep on mind. I think the chemistry between two main roles are nice too ^.^
